+# Four Day Week
+
+This month I reduced my working hours to 32 with the intention of making more time for some of my personal projects.
+
+I've decided to use this time to schedule some time to practice music, work on some of the apps I'm creating as part of tranquil systems, do chores in the house, and write some more (whether it's fiction, technical writing or something smaller like this blog post).
+
+Other than give me structure, this starts the day off with a 30 minute bike ride, which so far has been very relaxing.
+
+Only time will tell what this day feels like once the novelty starts to disappear and becomes part of my weekly routine, but so far I've been feeling more motivated and determined, even during the working hours. Working in two day chunks is more manageable than having a 5 day marathon.
+
+The one part that is a bit more undefined to me right now is the time for writing. The blog is an easy target, but I want something that lets me practice in a more structured way. One blog post a week seems like a good target, but maybe not as satisfying. Maybe I'll do a short story a week.

-# Why Quicksilver
-
-I've been a Quicksilver[1] user for a long time, and I've always wanted to contribute but felt overwhelmed by the complexity of the platform, and the fact that I'm not all that good at writing objective-c.
-
-=> https://qsapp.com/ [1] Quicksilver
-
-As just a user, I've depended on the goodwill of others to keep the app alive, and the plugins maintained. Now I want to make a change and help keep the app relevant for myself and others by learning how to develop plugins and adding functionality that is useful for myself and others, and by using this experience to make it easier for others to do the same.
-
-I could just as easily change to one of the other for-profit launchers out there, but I don't think any of them get close to the power and convenience that the "direct object" -> "action" -> "indirect object" provides.
-
-So why continue to use quicksilver, and why develop for it at all? Because I like it. I like the concept, I like the openness, and I want to give back.
-
-I'll be posting a series of posts on developing plugins for quicksilver as I learn. I started with a UI called Flat Bezel[2] that has involved mostly reading and building upon an existing interface[3], but I want to dive deeper and let others follow how this experience goes.
